Admission Requirements

BACK TO STUDENT CATEGORIES>>    
Transfer Students

Definition: Students who have attended another university or technical college and are in good academic standing.

Admission is simple -- submit the following to the Student Services Office:

  • The University of Wisconsin System application for admission
  • The application fee (waived for students who have attended another University of Wisconsin System college is $44.
  • Official transcript from college(s) attended
  • Official high school transcripts if transferring with less than 30 earned credits.
Academic Standing

Students who wish to transfer must be in good academic standing at their previous college (at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average). If you are not in good academic standing, transfer to UW-Richland is possible only by appealing to the Academic Actions Committee at UW-Richland. Please contact the Student Services Office at 608-647-6186 for information on the academic appeals process.
