There are three classes in the community: Psychology 202 for 3 credits taught by Dennis Carpenter, Ph.D.; English 101 for 3 credits taught by Karen McLeer, Ph.D.; and Lecture 100 Transition to College/Living in a Diverse World for 1 credit taught by Linda Gentes, M.S.
  • What’s the deal with these three courses?
The three instructors connect some course work and assignments between the classes. Lecture 100 focuses on study skills for all classes and active learning experiences in both psychology and English. A bonus of the L & L community is you receive an IS designation towards your AA&S degree. IS stands for Interdisciplinary Studies.
  • Is this program only for students who are having problems . . . or only for very smart students?
